Just wondering if you are planning to include Sarah's preintro confessional or Morgan's post vote confessional ? By not having Spencer, I was on Struggle Street this week and with another consecutive vote out this week, I am beginning to fade considerably - JTia, then Ciff, Alexis, Sarah and now Morgan.

Morgan's counts. Sarah didn't have a pre-intro confessional.

Fair enough, I just thought the Previously on Survivor bit counted

Can't really do anything this round as the only trade I can make would be Tash for Jeremiah, but that would be a lateral move and not really a good use of a trade. Aside from that, I could trade Tony for Kass or LJ for Jefra or Trish, but I'd probably be downgrading for each. Tony can stay as captain and as he's only held by 30% of teams, I hope he scores over 100 while hopefully Spencer gets eliminated leaving everyone else in trouble. Or even better for my team would be if Spencer quits- that would give me a good chance to make up ground in the overall standings.
As for last week, it was great to see ALL THE FIXINS return in a glorious fashion. It truly is one of Jeff's best quotes alongside 'Rain really comin down now'

I can't do anything again this round aside from comment that I think Kass is probably going to fade into obscurity over the coming weeks as she's not really a relevant factor now that Tony has burnt LJ. Also, the top 3 teams plus the Lords of Chaos definitely have Tony in their team. The question is - has anyone ever had Tony and Spencer at the same time ? If they do, then they are probably first, if they used to have both but then traded one of them then they made a blunder the size of a mirror. With LJ getting eliminated, I'm basically out of the running for anything this season. If I just had have picked Spencer instead of Cliff pregame then I would be in a much better spot.
I'll keep Tony as captain and hope that he doesn't get voted out to make it 7 consecutive eliminations for my team. Lastly, Woo is a quality character

This ladder gives me a chance of qualifying for the super 6s. All that has to happen is for me to beat Cotton Guard and for Holly's Hunters to outscore Bearded Rainbows as they've done throughout the Premiership season so far. My differential after facing the Denture's improved significantly which means I'm now pretty well placed

actually, scratch that. I overlooked that the dreamkillers need to lose to the trailblazers too. For that to happen AND the other things to happen aren't likely
I have a chance, but the odds are slim

trades at this stage are not really a workable option, so I'll be sticking with the same team and captain once more. I feel like Cotton Guard most likely has Spencer, so I hope that Tony outscores him - if that happens, I'll probably beat them head2head

So I'm out of the premiership race despite pulling a huge total this week. I'm out of the running overall too as I'm convinced that the top teams are doing so well as they have both Spencer and Tony. Ensuring everyone else cant win. Hopefully I can keep on rising up the ladder though and finish in the top 5/6 regardless. The lesson to take away from this is that the season can be lost premerge- by me making the error in not picking up Spencer when I had a chance, I blew any shot I had at winning. Yet if things turned out that someone like Sarah or LJ was a boom scorer, the teams which picked them early on would be in the running, with everyone else out of it. I suppose my only chance of a late season revival is for Tasha to keep killing it now that she's basically unaffordable at 9 bucks seeing as nobody will swap her for Tony/Spence. Spencer would then need to get voted out now while Tony would need to score 2nd to only Tasha. Fingers crossed that would mean that with 13 dollars stuck on the jury, they have weaker scorers like Kass and Trish to fill out their team. If I can have Tony, Woo and Tash in the F3 my score will skyrocket, odds suggest that none of the 7 teams above me would have that exact combo, if I then lucked out and had my captain as the winner and my jurors all playingabig role, I might just be able to win the whole season.
By the way, I'll keep Tony as my captain - fingers crossed Spencer gets voted out AND Tash can take his spot as a big scorer. I'm down, but I'm not giving it up yet!

More great insight. <3
I'm thinking of a different format next season - tribes have to be reselected at the merge. Would mean people focus on building their bank balance pre-merge. Would love your thoughts on this.

I actually think that the way you've run it this season is pretty close to ideal, but I'm not sure everyone can quite see it. I really like how premerge, there was a balance between people being rewarded by conserving trades and rewarded for their early use- this is how the game rewards strategy and allows for risk taking. What I'd do to tweak things though would be to keep the trade limit the same premerge and then adding an additional post merge bonus trade. So you've got 4 max premerge and then 2 which can be activated only at the merge. With the bonus post merge trades, they are bonus as they may be used after the player is voted out. I'm not sure whether or not you'd allow any premerge trades which may have been saved to be used after a player is voted out- but I've been thinking to keep them as standard post merge as are the rules now. That way you have people who are chasing the leaders would be cashing their 2 bonus trades early- risking burning the bonuses too early and putting them out of the running; missing out on a full tribe at the crucial final episodes. The conservatives would not use the bonuses early, but may hold out too long and miss out on opportunities. Then you've got people who may settle on sitting with a juror due to their crazy facial expressions or something. Additionally, this would reward a bit of risk taking with the regular trades and benefit more active DT players. While people may be more willing to jump on someone in the minority alliance as if they get voted out, you are still in a position to fill out their spot with someone else.
These are just basically ideas due to my experiences this season. Other teams who are doing better are probably using their trades more fully, but I've found my team kind of stuck in that there's been no real way I have been able to use my trades beneficially. There hasn't really been much thinking necessary in that I've just kept the team the same for ages. I find DT to be better when you've got dilemmas. Like, when it comes to trades, should I use or conserve my trades- do I go all out early, or hold out and make a late season charge ? This season started out pretty well when it comes to that- I felt unsure whether to keep Cliff or jump off and go to someone like Woo. But, I also wanted to wait and try to break even as he cost me quite a lot. Should I have held out as long as I did, or cut my losses earlier ? As for scoring, I wouldn't really change too much as it will just complicate things. I've seen people suggest that you make lots of changes, but that is just going to be harder to moderate and may put the balance to the scoring off.

Anyway, just suggestions. You've probably got more experience than me and I'm sure you have better ideas when it comes to this kind of thing. I'm behind whatever you want to do next seasonOh, as for my team - with Kass scoring well instead of Tash last week, I've fallen further and am probably out of the race for top spot now. I'm going to stick with Tony as captain again, but now it's just him and Woo on my team which is not ideal. Realistically, my only chance to get even top 5 is for Woo to win and to have him as my captain in the final episode. Not sure how likely that is on either account, though.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the bonus trade suggestion, too. Really like it. I'm going to probably leave scoring as is. Maybe refine it a bit more (bigger penalty for votes against maybe). Definitely losing the blurred nudity one... so hard to catch.
