Thanks I like having a place just to put a few thoughts down on the episodes- it's not helping me statistically, but tha's okay. concerns lie in tina killing the team. I realistically should change her for Laura Boneham and I may do so given I see her surprisingly as a more likely winner. aras would need to pin down vytas, tina and katie in an alliance post merge for tina to win. as I reckon tyson will team up with gerv, monica (if brad loses at RI) primarily and secondarily with laura b and caleb (if he merges) and take out the remaining couples. at the merge - he knows aras is in the power role and is capitalising on his position as 2nd/3rd in command. as such the longer galang continue winning - the more options tyson has to form an uprising from within without arousing the suspicions of his belted buddy. in terms of my thoughts on this episodes vote - I felt as though ciera would go and she nearly did, but I don't think caleb's 'move' was a smart one in the long run. I just see vytas pulling a big episode next time tadhana lose and swinging katie/ciera to burn caleb in a blindside after what went down. caleb is still the only one without a connection on the other side and I can see that working against him, in addition to vytas and hayden being seen as stronger in challenges. going against his alliance so publically and controversially won't be well received by vytas. It kind of feels like how colby turned the tables on hatch in all stars and was cut down immediately after as the next head of the snake. or even like phillip's elimination last season except without idols. but regardless of anything (short of ciera morphing into a challenge beast), I see katie especially (90%) and vytas almost especially (87%) safe if tadhana have to head back to tribal. over on galang, however (assuming brad doesn't swap in) - there's still the 5 alliance with apparent control. then there's lauras and kat on the outs. I see laura boneham safe because rupert's out. So that's laura m or kat as the next to go should they lose - now that we are near the merge, I'd say that kat would be the first to go based on hayden's threat potential and her challenge strength (aside from candice, she's the biggest overall female challenge threat) - which stands out more atm than laura b's social manouverability and laura m as a seemingly 'tamer' player. with 13 in general play, I'd love to see 1 more episode until merge and then another episode after that until the RI player/players return. that may see someone reveal their hand at the merge only to have the next vote feature the same 12 players and a different result ! In terms of swaps, I'm not swapping Tys/Vytas for any of Caleb/Candice/John/Brad due to the uncertainty I hold over any of their fates in the game especially with on paper, the most evenly matched duel to come and caleb possibly becoming the new 'grand poobah'. I give hayden probably less chance than aras/tyson/vytas at the moment and so he's a small possibility of a swap in this week. with monica as a lower chance than hayden - it's probably not worth gambling on a swap in when she'd probably lose even if she did swap. It's good to see gerv and katie double their value, but swapping them is out of the question as there's nobody else on 2. plus I still really like katie as a player - I didn't see samoa, but from what I hear katie reminds me of a hybrid of natalie white and denise stapely. so that promises good things and even though I see laura b as in a strong spot, she has not been scoring- so gerv can hold onto his spot for another week.

I notice that despite being in a real good spot, aras hasn't really had a big scoring episode yet. so rather than being reactive, like I have been with my captain selections I'm being proactive and hoping that he's overdue for a haul. I'm basically last anyway, so I'll just risk it - CAPTAIN change to Aras.

Well, I'm trying to stay away from commenting, mainly so I don't influence anyone's decisions. I've been posting thoughts in the admin section though. Hopefully you'll find it a good read post-game. My thoughts on trades, how teams are going and which Survivors are the ones to watch. But I will say that I love Tyson. He's hilarious. He and Jonathan Penner have pretty much shot to my favourites of all time. Mainly because of when I hear them on Rob Has A Podcast. I just find them so interesting and funny, and he usually has them on every season. I just lowed through Philippines again over the weekend/last night and wow, Penner's FTC speech has to be just about the best of all time. No one else on Galang really grabs me. I've always liked Gervase but this season not so much. Kat I always thought was weird, Tina I respect but never found her interesting, Monica/Laura Morrett kinda interchangeable MILF types. Aras is ok but kinda vanilla. Laura B is just meh. Of the new players, I have a thing for Katie. I like unique looks and she's the type of girl I'd find attractive (ssssh, don't tell my wife!). I also like Ciera. Her face is really interesting. Personality wise, I like Vytas. Seems the stereotypical game type, and I like those kinds of players. Otherwise, Caleb could be interesting and Brad is just funny to watch. Hayden is ok. I'm happy with the early boots. Rupert's had his time and I think everyone's over him. Colton is just a whiney little fuck who has so much potential, which I can see why they brought him back, but this was the wrong season for him. Rachel was bland and Marissa was just the stereotypical loud mouth token black girl. I don't know why they keep casting those types, they'll never do well (although NaOnka did surprise).

I actually have been finding Katie more attractive each episode, so I'm on the same page with you there. The longer she's on the island the better she seems to look. Yeh, Ciera's face is pretty unusual - sometimes it looks really old, but other times it looks very young. I don't know how that happens. Vytas is pretty relatable and cool and yeh, I had high hopes for Colton, but now I'm completely over him and dislike him a fair bit

A good score this week a bit of a rise up the ladder. Where can your tribe improve more?

I think steady growth is the name of the game. If I can keep growing my team's value and not go for short term growth ie not picking those who may score well in the next one or two shows, but are also a bigger shot of elimination (like Caleb) is better for my team. Aside from Marissa, I haven't had anyone voted out from my tribe- while I've never had a duel loser. I've kept the view that it's better to not use my trades due to my continued preference towards long term security in players, with none of my players as a genuine threat to go home since episode 1.
Hopefully gerv and tina can pick up their scores as katie, aras, tyson and vytas have delivered so far. I might have to swap captains again to either vytas or tyson.

Great score this week. A small rise on the ladder but just a bit of luck and you could make a big jump soon. What's the plan?
