Moving up to the NorthEast, Gategod are eager to take on the Tatertots, but their celebrations are premature as they can't get past whats in front of them. Waka winning each Episode by a narrow margin, adding up to more than enough to dump Steve Zissou out at this early stage.



Still lower in the table, Team Balor continue their good form of late to handily dispatch Snakewing's Grape Apes 2-0

The Waka Moles will face off against Team Balor, re-opening old wounds as Duck faces Waka.

SouthEast Bracket



The competition proves there is always time for an upset with the results from the SouthEast.

Firstly, Team Seiko overturn a huge 100+ point disadvantage to unseat one of the top seeds in The Mysterion.




And it's never say never for the second leg too, as Melanie repeats Max' performance and then some, eking out a 7 point victory on RDN's Dumb Team.

Battle of the underdogs in the last quarter final, it's Max vs Melanie.

Just a quick update after the first leg of the quarter finals.

Thanks to the double episode, three teams have opened a considerable margin, and tough times ahead for A2K2, shmady & Duck to each try overturn those scores in a single episode. But just look at the tight tight one-point difference in the SouthEast face-off.

Pretty much.

I wish they'd release an episode guide of some kind in advance. Trying to time this to finish at the right time is awkward every year. We could have made that double ep be a single round if we'd known far enough in advance it were coming.

Quarter Final Results

With the leads established in the double episode, there was little chance of and of AK, Duck or Shmady catching their opponents in this single episode.

BUT!

Melanie entered this week 1 point behind Max.This week, she pips his score by 2 points to win the aggregate! Thriller!!

That means we'll wave goodbye to each of A2K2, Team Balor, the Stranger Waffles & Team Seiko did Nothing Wrong.





Now, CBS have finally released their schedule for the rest of the Season, and there are only two episodes left. For us this means the semi final will be a one-episode match-up, and the same for the final here correlating to the RL finale.

This week we will see top dogs Taterpigs face off against long time climber Yope. Who it should be noted, would have beaten Tater in the quarters had they been paired.

In the other semi, underdog darling Melanie is paired with the ever unchanging Waka Moles. GJ them for doing this well while (still) sticking with all their pre-Season picks.

One Episode to book a place in the finals.
