Just as prestigious as the Fantasy League, this contest will become a head-to-head knockout once we reach the Final Sixteen. Meaning all you need to do is to be on-form - be better than your opponent in those weeks, and you move on. Be worse, and you're out of the contest.  But to get to the knockout stages, you're going to need to finish Top 2 in your Group with your score over the next three episdes. These Groups (and the later layout) have been seeded, depending on your current position on the League Leaderboard. Take a look at your opponents:  Just to be clear, you don't need to do anything different than you are normally doing - it is the exact same team from your league run that counts towards this competition. However, if you are starting to believe the League is out of reach or a bridge too far, then maybe you want to focus your efforts on winning this instead. With three weeks to cover your qualification, that ought to be enough time to make the sweeping changes you could need to make an impact here. For your information, the F16 round will run over two episodes, as will the F8 round. F4 and the Finale will depend on how many episodes remain in the TV show. Good luck all! |

One Episode into the first set of three, and not a lot of Teams are just playing along with their original seedings. Four-team Group A the only one playing out as expected. In Groups E & B, second seeds Waka & A2K2 take the lead over favourites amethyst & shiftyjoshi respectively. Groups F, G & H see CKD, yope & morris not content to lie down in last and each push into second place Biggest turnarounds appear with bottom seeds melanie & danielle taking top spots in their Groups. Still two weeks to go before the head to head knockouts, and it's pretty close in parts - only 1 point between qualification or elimination in Group C!  |

With two weeks down and one more to go in this Round of the Cup, a few teams are putting their best foot forward. A reminder that only the top two in any given group can move on. shmady retakes the lead above melanie in Group D. Duck puts one over on shiftyjoshi trying to take the second slot in group B. The hotly contested four-team Group A sees Effy leapfrog gino into second slot but only ten points separate them. All other teams hold their positions, but some have tightened the margins. Group C in particular has only two points between qualification and elimination.  |
