I enjoyed the episode because I'm happy to have Survivor back, but I agree with Yope fully. I have been disappointed in the representation of my demographic since I would never hang out with anyone that has an attitude toward younger people like that. Some of them are like baby boomers. And I have nobody I'm invested in at this point either. Zeke's story of growth in one episode actually seemed genuine enough to not need to be forced though, and David's sheer lunacy was certainly amusing. I don't know how long I can be quietly amused by "You're such a bro, man". I did feel like I was watching Zoolander for a while.
I can't even contemplate scoring until at least Sunday, but I think Yog is on to it.

Agreed with this 100% This premiere was solidly meh tier. It wasn't awful by any means imo but I have strong feelings about virtually none of the cast so far :/ Millennials tribe as a whole seems like a decently fun tribe, and I don't hate the Gen Xers as much as some people seem to, but right now I don't particularly love this one. I'm hoping it becomes a Nicaragua- or Gabon-esque trainwreck and there's definitely potential judging by the 4 way split episode one  |

He is a rich rich man. Anyone watching live, keep track of any #hashtags you might catch because they often aren't in the torrent later. I saw the #lovegoggles one.
This is heavy going, watching a man have an actual heart attack.
Thumbs up for Ken too, although lul at him being "the awkward kid" and a kindred spirit with David lol. I do like that he is actually genuine where I expected him to be just another person that thinks he is.

Wow lol. Ngl, I was VERY unenthused by that premiere, but that was an amazing episode of Survivor. Michelle fucking owned that shit, and that whole tribe is fantastic. I love how last episode presented the super cliche "oh har har har the cool kids can only count to 4" shit we've gotten like 15 times already only for it to be flipped on its head when Michelle convinces everyone to inexplicably flip to them for no reason :gay Hannah's voting scene was amazing but the real star of the flip was fucking MICHAELA. Like... she genuinely seems to dislike every single one of those people who she flipped to lol, so her making that move really is a thing of absolute beauty. The Gen X tribe is boring as fuck but at least Ken is an angel sent from heaven :') Mari... maybe she could have been great under different circumstances, but she was one of the only people not really adding to the drama of that tribe so I'm fine with her going. Especially with how it happened lol. 1. Michaela - I live for her. Using Tribal to angrily talk shit about the people she's voting with
