Please note all scoring is done at host discretion. Sometimes - particularly at TC - exact fits can be hazy and host discretion will be used. If you feel there is something missed or overlooked, let us know asap and we'll take a look at it. Some scoring factors may be tweaked as the Season and it's twists are revealed.
We are always looking for feedback for this Season and next; these values will not be locked in until the weekend before the Season begins. You should leave comments to that effect over here.
Confessionals
+5 Points: Regular Confessional given.
+8 Points: Pre-Intro Confessional given. TWEAK
+10 Points: Confessional given, in which Survivor cries. NEW
+8 Points: Pre-Intro Confessional given. TWEAK
+10 Points: Confessional given, in which Survivor cries. NEW
All individual confessionals (whether it be during the game or after being voted out) count as ONE confessional, unless intersected by some sort of significant action, or a clear change of location/topic.
If intersected by a non-confessional scene then the resuming confessional would still count as one confessional with the first section (example, Tyson talks about stealing coconuts, then a shot of him and Gervase drinking coconuts and talking and laughing, and then back to Tyson talking about Gervase being tight with him, it will be deemed as ONE confessional). However, if the hosts determine an intersected confessional is a new topic/scene, they will decide as to whether it counts as one or more confessionals.
In lieu of no intro being shown, it will be at the host's discretion to choose the natural episode ~starting point~ to choose to judge pre-intro confessionals.

This only applies if a player quits by their own decision. If the Medical unit pulls a player from the game, they will not be penalised. Speaking
+5 Points: Talks with Jeff during a line of questioning
+8 Points: Talks with Jeff "out-of-turn" TWEAK
+2 Points: Audibly speaking (or subtitled) with other survivors outside Jeff's questioning NEW
Points are awarded only once each time Jeff Probst asks a question or makes a statement. So if he asks a question and two people bicker back and forth, those two only get one set of points each. But if he asks a new question, then everyone can once again claim points for speaking.
Each of Jeff's lines of enquiry is started with a name. When answering here, a Survivor gets five points. However, if a different Survivor jumps in or cuts across, this is "out-of-turn" and worth extra.
Any whispering in the background not meant for Jeff's ears, is worth two points so long as the viewer gets to hear/read it.
