Wolfric was on this site and several others, as well as AIM the past 7 days. He was here and saw Hexa and Macka go over their scores. There are scores in this thread that could have been taken and accounted for each team so that people could trade and do everything they needed for the episode. That didn't happen and there was plenty of time to get it done. I had to account 40 teams and their scores in my version of this and that was done promptly, like it should be, since this game has to run in real time. I know me bitching is gonna get the stink eye, but I don't really care, because someone has to say it. And Wolfric knows how much I love him, but this whole thing is a mess and it didn't have to be. And any personal updates from him and then him logging in here anonymously and not updating US and making Modesty do it for him would have made this all be less annoying, not gonna lie.

And then like there is NO reason why the person who scores the episode should have their account changed. Scoring can be posted here in these threads, like it was during this episode by the people who watch the show that closely and in past seasons too. You do not have to promote people to be a scorer. I have no idea why that's being offered. But it's unnecessary. And the people who can score this efficiently and properly are Macka, Hexa, Yog and whoever uses the George Constaza avi. No one else.

I guess this whole "skip an episode" fix is okay, but it's still fucked up and unfair. Most of what happens now is going to be botched and unfair though, lol

There are some differences to what was posted before. Like Pre-Intro confessionals doubled.

Less points at TC. Jeff's one word in the middle of a Jason sentence doesn't make it a whole new points set.

Confessionals:


Those ones highlighted to the bottom are questionable. The two red ones I deemed not separate. The four green are fine.

Modesty you have to either look at those places in the episode (those confessionals & the TC) yourself, or make a call to give one person the power to make these calls. Because otherwise we're running round in circles. I am happy to do it like I said pre-season - I can just play at ORGY. But idk if peopl elike the sorts of calls I'd make. I can already see disagreements on those TC Qs and confessionals.

Is there any real reason not to change that now? It is a ridiculous rule.

Regardless, let's get this finalised within the next 24 hours. After going through Tribal again, I'm inclined to agree with Hexa on the short response questions still counting. More input here would be good, though.

Where are you getting two Jenny replies at TC from, Yoggington?

I also question whether we should actually go ahead with pre-intro doubled confessionals. It was removed for a pretty solid reason - it's not always clear when the intro is (if there even is one), and it causes people to constantly question why one has or hasn't been counted as double.

One for when she is asked the direct question.

The other was when her & Kyle Jason are whispering (and get subtitles) during Darnell's question just before that.

As for the doubled pre-intros confessionals, it's in the rules so I counted it. It gets more important in Ep 2 when Tai gets three pre-intro. I tallied Ep 2 anyway, let me post here.

Okay Episode 2 confessionals



There are three there I see are questionable noted at the bottom, that people might disagree on.

Whether Tai's initial three are different enough - I think they are? There is, initial idol hunt, then about finding the clue and what to do with it, then about how he couldn't get the idol and will have to come back later and he'll just be social in the mean time. Plus the location he is confessing from changes each time aka three different segments.

Alicia has two in the 17th and 18th minutes, and while they share a common topic, they appear before and after the five hours elapsed passage of time thing so I counted as two separate.

Then she has another possible pair which I counted as only one. Because even though her confessional location changes, it's really just two parts of the same thing wrapped around the scene she is talking about.



As for TC mostly it is clear cut.



There is one moment - the gray column - where jeff doesn't actually ask a verbal question - the camera just locks on him and he prompts further talk with an astonished face - that imo is clearly the start of the next little segment. But since he technically said nothing I didn't actually add them to the scores. I would see this as somewhere where common sense hosting would award the points though.


So by my count that's this many:



I've been generous with the hashtags to say Peter's #meow was about Debbie, while #stolenkiss covers both Tai & Caleb.

I wasn't sure how many to count Tai's idol clue for. He found one clue that led to another clue & item, that then led to a location? So I just called it as one "find".

I don't mind the pre intro confessionals counting as double. It's normally pretty clear when the intro is, even if it's just a flash of the Survivor logo, there's always something.
