Please note there will be no Episode 1 matches this week.
I'm still deciding on how best to operate this league with (currently) 31 teams. It may be quite different to previous seasons in the way it will be setup.

What if you seed the groups based on episode 1 scores? So the top 4 each have their own pool. Then you just go through and rank everyone putting them on pools accordingly. One pool has one less member, but that just means they have a bye for the season matches and a slightly better chance at making the finals. But statistically, they're the weaker pool anyway. So for the season you'd have each team playing each other once within the pool before finals. 1,5,9,13,17,21,25,29 2,6,10,14,18,22,26,30 3,7,11,15,19,23,27,31 4,8,12,16,20,24,28

Will likely to that now that we have 32 valid teams in this. With 31 I was thinking of doing something different. This will be setup for next episode. I still need to finalise scoring this first episode.

Divisions have been set up and you'll play 7 qualifying head to head matches against all those in your division. Still finalising who qualifies (likely top 2 from each division).

The tiebreaker being the % of PF/PA is kind of unfair considering PA is completely random based upon our random schedule. Why not just make the tiebreaker be points scored?

Might actually do it by head-to-head for final placings.

Might actually do it by head-to-head for final placings. That might be better. I've been playing fantasy sports since the 90's and the luck of the schedule has been an issue I could never solve. I've had guys finish 1st in points and miss the playoffs and I have had guys finish last in points and earn a 2nd seed. It is a travesty when these things happen.

It's all a bit luck based, hence why its more of a secondary fun thing.

If there was some cash prize at the end, sure you can take out as much luck as possible.
But for fecks sake, just enjoy this damn thing for what it is.

I thoroughly enjoy this game and I am sorry if I came across ungrateful or bitchy.

So from what I hear, the finale is May 20 in the US, which means 7 episodes remain.
The next 2 are fixtured rounds, so here's what will happen after that:
AFTER EPISODE 9 (April 15): The top 4 from each division will be ranked on TOTAL POINTS scored and then ordered from 1-16. EPISODE 10 (April 22): Round of 16 - 1 vs 16; 2 vs 15; 3 vs 14 etc. EPISODE 11 (April 29): Quarter Finals EPISODE 12 (May 6): Semi Finals EPISODE 13 (May 13): Finalists have a week off, two losing Semi Finalists will play off for 3rd EPISODE 14 (May 20: Final
I'll put a tournament bracket in the OP.
