No, does not need to be even between men and women. Just 2 from each tribe to start episode 1 and then a free reign from there.

Yeah, you get his value back. You need to trade him out, though, and replace him with someone else.

I'm confused. Are we trying to choose Survivors based solely on who will feature heavily in the episode, ie. are we best to predict who will be voted out?
Because, judging by the scoring, I'm not sure how choosing reliable players actually helps my tribe? Ie. Jefra and Jeremiah were both safe last episode, and I figured they would be so I kept them, but they both would have scored next to nothing. Whereas Cliff, who was voted out, would have earned me more points than either of them, but he got voted out!

I'm pretty crap at this dreamteam thing, as I'm always at the bottom, and so I really don't get how I'm supposed to be thinking to get ahead. Like, how is everyone else basing their choice of players? Am I missing something severely?

It's really up to you how you pick your tribe. Yes, those who get voted will often get a bit more screentime, but last season showed this is not always the case.

If you think someone is going to be voted out, and maybe get screentime as a result, then it's up to you if you want to have them in your tribe. Remember you only have 4 trades plus 1 bonus post-merge trade for around 13 episodes, so it's not like anyone could simply trade in and trade out likely vote offs just to cash in on screentime.

Also, you should realise that Jefra was actually the equal second highest scorer last week, scoring almost double what Cliff scored. And Jeremiah, while quiet, has had good scores previously and was also only 5 points less than Cliff this week.

Last season you actually were travelling pretty well until late in the game, if you recall. I think, from memory, you may have run out of trades.

I've made Kass your captain but Sarah cannot be traded out. Jury members will remain locked into tribes.
