Avatar is awesome.
Display Name colour I'll leave up to you to make it something visible with the background. It's probably a little too light with this skin.
For the skin, I'm not too sure a red with a blue will work. Too much of a contrast between the two posts. I think you're on the right track making them both lighter in shade but I think colours a little closer (say a light red and a light orange?) Best thing to do is to keep messing around with different combinations, see what looks good, what doesn't. Something will stick.

Wondering whether darker or lighter makes it easier to read. I'm happy to leave that judgement up to you to avoid this back and forth "change the colour, wait for response, change the colour, wait for response" and just make it something that looks right with the colour of the skin.

The problem is, I have no idea how it looks on your screen. I mean, my work monitor and home monitor actually have different settings, so while it looks good on one, it looks weird on the other. Tis why I keep asking you. Maybe if you can find the shade you like, post some text here and let me know the hex code we can then stop this merry-go-round? Also... there's very little to do right now as I'm waiting for Robb to send me his fucking cast rankings so I can finalise that shit. Why the fuck did I let him co-host??? Haha, maybe I should have taken up the offer to co-host during the last DT. I'm really not all that fussed about the colour. Overall, it won't change anything so it's no big deal. Just an aesthetics thing. |
