Welcome everyone to the reveal of your final placings and the winner of the first season of Survivor Dream Team. It's been a long season, much longer than regular ORGs, so it's not surprising to see some interest taper off. But thank you to everyone who has taken part and thank you to those who really got into it. It was very enjoyable for me to check this regularly to see people's thoughts. Thanks also to GB for his contributions as co-host. We worked well in sorting out things and he was invaluable to bounce ideas off. Before I get to the reveal shortly, for those who gambled on the Player of the Season, CBS did not run one this season. However, as stated here, Rob Has A Podcast has done a Player of the Season award via it's listeners. I will reveal the results momentarily. |

For those that gambled to triple their captain's score and got it incorrect, your captain's score will NOT be doubled.
Nobody gambled to quadruple their captain's score.

But his star waned along with the former NFL player's. After becoming inactive, most changes to his team were forced and done at random by the hosts. Due to inactivity, the Destroyers were relegated to last position are are the first Survivor Dream Team wooden spooners.

Not utilising trades and not having Tyson cost the Dentures dearly. Vytas also had to be carried through the home stretch due to the number of eliminated players on the tribe.

Possibly the worst trade of the game was moving on Tyson so they could get the red hot Vytas in and it didn't turn out well. By the time it was realised Tyson was essential, he was priced too high and unattainable. A slight comeback at the merge by taking a calculated gamble on Laura M coming back into the game was the only remaining highlight as the Legends remained stuck near the bottom of the ladder.

One of the more in depth commentators on their actions this season, they seemed to hover in 7th or 8th almost all season, never able to gain any traction to catch up on the leaders. Carried Gervase and Katie for far too long and ultimately did not capitalise on the types who would have pushed up the score more. Captain selection also always seemed to be a curse, with continual gambles on anyone but Tyson in an effort to make ground. Perhaps a tribe that suffered from overthinking more than most, and possibly could have gone safe and wait for those above them to have poor rounds.

Not being able to get onto the Vytas train early hurt, while lack of quality scorers in the run home just finished them off. The wait and see approach turned out to just get them further into the myre and they were never really a serious threat to the top 5.

The Modland Trailblaisers started solidly and really looked good post-merge. But having to carry Vytas through several rounds hurt, and the recovery soon became insurmountable. The gamble on the Player of the Season would have seen the Blaisers win the game had they selected correctly, however the hit saw them stumble down in the final round to be middle of the ladder.

But when prodded for changes, they were made and a steady rise to 5th occurred over the last 5 episodes. Perhaps this is more of a sign of those above making desperate gambles, allowing a solid side that contained players who all lasted until the final episode to float on up.

Just couldn't quite the nail the best combination to make a serious run at the game and finish just ever so shy in a very tight top 4.
