Some people have been asking about this, it's not been forgotten. With 31 teams in the running, plus the early missing week making this simpler - we're changing over to a more straightforward knock-out format. Teams will be seeded after Episode Five based on their total point standings so far. These will then be used to fill out a 32-player bracket (top seed will get a Round 1 bye) in regular tournament format where the higher seeds get paired against lower to keep the big guns apart until later.

Each pair will then play a 'home' and 'away' fixture for every round bar the final, so the first round will be Episode 6+7 - your total score across these two episodes, will be compared against you opponent and the higher will move on.

This will culminate in a single Episode finale between the top two teams to co-incide with the Season finale.

Final 32 - Episode 6+7
Final 16 - Episode 8+9
Quarter-Finals - Episode 10+11
Semi-Finals - Episode 12+13
Final - Episode 14

Maybe. I was basing it on a 14 episode Season similar to Brains/Brawn/Beauty 1. Which went;

Ep1: F18 -> F17
Ep2: F17 -> F16
Ep3: F16 -> F15
Ep4: F15 -> F14

Ep5: F14 -> F13
Ep6: F13 -> F12
Ep7: F12 -> F11
Ep8: F11 -> F10
Ep9: F10 -> F9
Ep10: F9 -> F8
Ep11: F8 -> F7
Ep12: F7 -> F6
Ep13: F6 -> F5

Ep14: F5 -> F4 -> F3

But now that's one less boot to handle so either they have an episode less or they stretch out the final to just go 4 to 3. I couldn't find a CBS schedule for that far ahead either. We'll play it by ear.

The Northwest Division included all of Halford , RDN , pingu , TMM , morris , Pharaoh Axeh and Beezilla





Halford 's two week total of 478 was not amazing, but enough to see him past his early-earned bye as top seed.

A 17 point buffer after Episode 5 was not enough to keep RDN 's Dumb Team afloat as pingu romped home in Episode 6.


In the other half of the bracket, morris couldn't hold onto that first leg lead and TMM takes full advantage.

Pharaoh Axeh takes home the second best score in the division, but it was still 101 points short of 24th seed Beezilla , who's found a rich vein of form at just the right time. Unlucky Pharaoh Axeh

Meanwhile in the Southwest Bracket, competing are all of Macka , Parvati , gino , Cartwright , Waka , Duck , Jon Snow , and gerbil .




The BrinSTARS cement their position as one of the top seeds and roll over Parvati 's Team Allegory.

Lower seed gino sets up a next round thriller with an even more comprehensive steamrolling of Cartwright 's Jerk Store.


The Waka Moles did enough in Episode 5 to hold out even with a strong showing from Duck in Episode 6.

But the top score in the bracket belongs to gerbil , handily dispatching Jon Snow 's Survivor is Coming. You win or you die and four more are out of the Cup.

Off to the Northeast now, home to all of Teighteen , knuckleducker , shmady , yope , tbj , the Don Chilli , Willie , and shiftyjoshi



First up, the battle of the inactives. Neither have been here in weeks and both are holding onto those early round boots, but Teighteen 's initial set up was more than enough to sweep knuckleducker 's Those Who Feel Pain in their Tailbones out of the competition.

Far more hotly contested and coming down to some canny trading at the right and wrong times, shmady scores hella large and yope is unlucky to have been the victim.


In the second half, fighting over a six point difference after Episode Five, tbj manages to save his Cup hopes as well as his login details to turn over the Don Chilli in the sixth.

And last but not least, coming from 21 points behind to go 32 ahead, Willie robs shiftyjoshi of the dA clash of the titans and steals that face-off with tbj for himself.

Last but not least, it's off to the Southeast (woah poetry) survivorfantasy , gnarlsdudley , Randy's Minions , scoofyken , Roxy , Effy , Cheezel , and FrackAttack




In the biggest upset of the tournament so far, third seed survivorfantasy gets toppled in the second leg by gnarlsdudley 's week 1 set up. Better luck net year Burritos.

scoofyken is less spectacular but just as conclusive as they mow down @randy's Minions.


Some late changes were not enough for Effy to overturn Roxy , who cruises through her tie.

And in the final match of the round, Cheezel solidly does the business and puts FrackAttack out to pasture.
