Yeah, it can be whatever you like.  Prices are decided by a couple of factors - initially it is on comparison to all player scores for the episode. So the highest scorer will likely increase and the lowest decrease and all else in between will go up/down/stay the same pending how they scored compared to everyone else and what their current price is. After a couple of episodes, I look for players to meet their average for the past 2-3 episodes. If they meet it, they stay the same price, for every 10 points they beat it they increase in price by 1, for every 10 points they fail to meet it by they decrease by 1. If something outlandish happens that makes someone go up a crazy amount, I'll reign it in based on the overall scores for the episode. It's not an exact science but I've got a good feel for it after a few seasons now. The first game was myself and GB basically going by feel so it's evolved from there. |
