I didn't check TV guides for the length of the episode. Nor did I care.

Rocky what they're saying is that is wasn't obvious that points would be significantly lower because we had no way of knowing - it's not like we're in the production team or knew ahead of time what the episode would be like. The suggestion to halve points was based on what happened last time, I presume, and it's been found that the same circumstances don't apply so it was suggested the 'half points' rule be revoked. It was pretty simple when it was originally suggested for consideration, so I don't see why there needs to be a fuss about it? All this talk of bias from some people was totally unnecessary and uncalled for. However, I DO think we should all unanimously kick Roxy out of the game for failing to disclose that she was actually psychic when she picked Jeremy as her team captain.

I'd like to know how changing the weighting of the first round points is bias towards any individual.

How could you @thediscofishes?? I wasn't alone in picking Jeremy as Captain though. There are dozens of us, DOZENS! Or two, idk.

PDC you completely missed my point it’s ridiculous. I think halving the scores would be a bad idea. These seem to be similar to regular episodes of scores last season. I think the main difference was the double boot rather than just the double length that threw things off.All I'm saying is that it was obvious points would be lower this season, given the shorter premiere (which implied there was no double boot). And that it's silly to complain about it now when you should've already known.

What, Newman? Are you serious? Sophie right before Kim, Natalie right before Sandra. It's pretty even.

Rocky what I said was that we have no way of knowing that other than assumptions you made based on episode length, and again - we aren't production. Imagine that rule wasn't in place and it was a double boot? I bet the same people talking about 'bias' and all that shit are the same ones who'd be complaining about disadvantage. It doesn't matter overall, it was just a suggestion someone made, and a logical one at that, not a forced rule change. Getting offended by the suggestion, or going on the attack because someone disagreed with your opinion is what is ridic. Who cares? ---- *goes and sits with Roxy to gossip about whether Alec or Drew is the 'stupid' one and who is better looking*

I didn't bother checking the length of the episode in advance, and I thought it would be a double boot again. I also didn't know this 'halving the scores' idea was even a thing until I saw the argument in here. But yeah, there is no reason to halve the scores, and I don't think we should be locked in to a decision we made without all of the relevant information.

*goes and sits with Roxy to gossip about whether Alec or Drew is the 'stupid' one and who is better looking* This is clearly the most important discussion to be having.
