Episode 7 lockout is now over. You can commence your business to prepare for episode 8.
Please note that from the merge episode onwards you will lose any remaining pre-merge trades and you will be assigned with THREE post-merge trades. You will also only be able to make a maximum of ONE trade per week.
Also, any Survivor who leaves the game from NEXT EPISODE ONWARD will NOT be able to be replaced in your tribe. There are three Survivors currently on Redemption Island, please think wisely if it's worth the gamble to keep them.
I am also introducing an addition to the points system, on the fly. Any Survivor who RETURNS from Redemption Island to the game (so whether it be via a loved one swapping in or winning their way back, which will happen for one Survivor next episode), they will receive +25 points to their score INSTEAD of the normal 10 for the Redemption Island win. The two that lose and are knocked out will receive -5 points, instead of -10. There will be no points for second place. I hope everyone embraces this addition to the scoring.
Tribes will also be reduced at the FINAL 7 and FINAL 5 stages of the game. Please see the Game Format thread for information on that.
Anyone who has Kat in their tribes MUST replace her before episode 8. If not, you will receive the lowest priced available Survivor by default (if there is more than one, it will be selected at random). A trade will be used to replace Kat. If you do not have enough currency or trades for this, however, Kat will be removed from your tribe and will not be replaced.
- If anyone does not have any trades remaining to replace someone who is out of the game, you will be playing with one less tribe member, however you will be refunded the value of that Survivor (only if this situation occurs pre-merge).
- If anyone has Kat as captain, whoever he is traded for will be made captain by default unless you request to change your captain to someone else.
- If Kat is not replaced in your tribe and was captain, captaincy will be assigned to your lowest priced Survivor (if there are more than one, it will be selected at random), unless you request otherwise.
